To promote our activities, we are committed to creating a continuous and direct channel between the association, the beneficiaries of the projects, the donours and the supporters, in order to share as much information as possible, thus making known the difficult living conditions that characterize some areas of the world.

Transparency is a key principle of our association. Our projects are painstakingly documented and the accounts accessible to all. We believe that a continuous and transparent dialog is the key to building lasting and effective results.

WHAT WE DO

EDUCATION

EDUCATION

The development of educational projects is aimed at villages and institutions that welcome marginalized groups and various categories of disabled people. Knowledge is the starting point for the development of the person and the improvement of personal, social and community conditions. For this reason, we decided to invest in educational and future-oriented projects: starting from basic reading and writing learning, they embrace increasingly higher educational levels with a special focus on IT skills, capable of breaking down physical, geographical and cultural barriers.

FOCUS ON WOMEN’S SKILLS

FOCUS ON WOMEN’S SKILLS

Women are often constrained between the social context in which they grow up and a condition of widespread illiteracy. To overcome such difficult situations, Zente aims at developing and carrying out projects dedicated exclusively to women, sometimes sorted by age. In addition to basic schooling, projects focus on teaching trades useful for improving families’ economic conditions and social cohesion, improving hygiene, physical and psychological care.

ALBINISM

ALBINISM

The presence of albino people is documented in many villages and time does not seem to reduce the number of cases. Zente works closely with local operators to safeguard this particular group. In addition to educational activities, we seek collaborations to distribute both protective and safeguarding devices, but we are also committed to improving or creating structures that are simultaneously protective and useful for albinos’ personal growth in villages we work with.

BUILDING

BUILDING

One of the fundamental things in such deprived areas is the construction of solid and durable structures: toilets, community centres, multipurpose buildings, praying areas. Our task is to sit down with the local communities and, based on their needs, find materials and ways to carry out the work. Starting from the design, through the identification of suitable areas and the obtainment of the necessary administrative permits, Zente works to improve the life of the communities with the creation of new social infrastructure.
