People at Zente have reached important results over the last ten years by participating in different volunteer projects.
We have started from the foundations: building houses that could replace huts or shacks; creating communal meeting places according to the local community needs; building toilets to replace holes in the ground; digging wells for drinking or irrigation; creating paths to link villages and facilitate connections.
Inclusive education has been another area of work: services aimed at reducing social and material distances for disabled people; female emancipation through teaching and learning, fighting illiteracy in all its forms.
Last but not least, we have worked with migrants: assistance, solidarity marches, orientation and integration.
We have done everything with the constant desire to never stop, to look beyond borders and to continuously challenge ourselves in new locations.
The cooperative spirit of Zente is summarised by this action plan: analyzing the context, looking for resources and trying to do what is necessary to improve as much as possible the life in communities we choose to cooperate with. For us it is essential keeping in mind we choose to do what we do, being constantly positive, and to taking into account everyone's ideas
